Who we are

Prices
All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT. There are no fees or shipping costs. When you order an ice cream box online, you save 10% compared with the price in the shop. The discount applies to ice cream boxes only.
Payment
You pay by card or MobilePay when you order. The full amount is charged on the day you order – also when you rent an ice cream freezer. We do not store your card details.
Flavours and sold-out flavours
We make our ice cream fresh and pack your box in good time, so it is ready when you arrive. Our flavours change with the seasons. If a flavour you chose has sold out when we pack, we replace it with a similar flavour.
Order confirmation
You receive an order confirmation by email. The agreement is made once you have received it.
Right of withdrawal
Ice cream and ice cream cakes are made for you and only keep for a short time. Therefore, there is no 14-day right of withdrawal on them. The same applies to renting an ice cream freezer for a specific date. Gift cards can be cancelled within 14 days as long as they have not been used.
Cancellation
Even though there is no right of withdrawal, you can cancel free of charge within these deadlines. Email us with your order number, and you will get your money back on your card or MobilePay within a few days.

Instead of money, you can always choose a gift card for the full amount.
Renting an ice cream freezer
You pay the full rental when you book. There is no deposit. If you cancel at least 7 days before, you get all your money back. Later, you get 50% back.
Almost all freezers come back in good shape, and then there is no extra cost. We just ask you to clean the freezer and return it with the accessories. If something is missing or damaged, we will send an invoice according to this list:

Gift cards
Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. They can be used in the shop and online and cannot be exchanged for cash.
If something is wrong
Contact us straight away if something is not right – ideally before the ice cream has been eaten. If you ordered in advance, send a photo of the problem and your order number to info@ugandais.dk. If the complaint is justified, you will get a new product or other suitable compensation. You always have a 2-year right to complain under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
Allergens
Allergens are listed for each flavour. We make all our ice cream in the same kitchen, so we cannot rule out traces of nuts, gluten and other allergens.

Complaints
Please contact us first. If we cannot find a solution, you can complain to the Danish Complaints Board (Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus) via forbrug.dk.
