Ice cream made with love from Ugandavej
An old-fashioned ice cream parlor in a listed farmhouse from the early 1900s. Run by twin brothers Christian and Michael.
From greengrocer to ice cream parlor
The idea of opening an old-fashioned ice cream parlor on Ugandavej emerged in early 2019. Christian and Michael had spent six years working with fresh fruit and vegetables at Uganda Grønt, and with the most delicious berries and produce right at their fingertips, it was time for something new.
On the farm stood an old, heritage-listed building from the early 1900s. The farmhouse was completely renovated to include an in-house ice cream production facility, a shop, and staff facilities – and in mid-May 2020, Uganda Ismejeri opened its doors.
Uganda Grønt
The brothers' greengrocer's has been located on Ugandavej since 2014, offering fruit, vegetables, flowers, and plants. This is where the fresh berries for the ice cream come from.

Delicious, delicious homemade ice cream full of flavour. Our favourite was white chocolate with licorice and lemon. Wow.
