Flavours of the season: How the counter changes with the seasons

At Uganda Is, the ice cream is made every day in the old farmhouse on Ugandavej in Kastrup. The display case holds up to 24 flavours, and the selection changes continuously with the seasons and whatever is best right now.

Dairy ice cream and sorbet

The display is divided into two types of ice cream. Dairy ice cream is creamy and rich – ranging from classics like vanilla and chocolate to our own house creations like white chocolate with raw liquorice. Sorbet is made without milk and is fresh and tart, e.g., with raspberry, mango, or lemon. Many of the sorbets are also free of nuts and gluten in their recipes.

Flavours that come and go

Some flavours are available all season, while others are only in the display for a limited time. Seasonal flavours are marked on the flavour board, so you can see what is new. Towards winter, warmer flavours appear, such as gingerbread heart.

How to see today's flavours

On the Our Ice Cream page, you can see which flavours are currently in the display and filter by, for example, dairy-free, nut-free, and gluten-free. When you build your ice cream box online, you can only choose flavours that are currently available – ensuring you get exactly what you selected.
